Castlevania: Nocturne has been renewed for a second season following its recent premiere on Netflix.

The series is loosely based on Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night and follows the story of Richter Belmont set to the backdrop of the French revolution.

Since it premiered, the series as been the subject of culture war social media arguments due to the changes made to Annette; a problem that was exacerbated by the show’s combative social media account.
